Kylie is entering her 4th season as the head volleyball coach at Billings Central and just finished her 4th season coaching in the Ascent Club Volleyball program. Prior to her coaching career, she played at Billings Senior on the '06, '07, and '08 volleyball state championship winning teams. She continued her career at Dartmouth College, where she served as team captain her senior year.

Sue Dvorak is the new Head Coach at Billings Senior High School. Sue brings 30 plus years of coaching experience to Senior. Her most recent coaching position was at Presentation High School in San Jose, California. While there, she led her team to a California Division 2 State Championship. She also coached competitive club teams for ages 10-18. She has numerous appearances in the Junior National Championship in both the Open and Club divisions, including three 5th place finishes. During her last year in California she led her 17 Open team to the Northern California Championships, and a third place finish at the AAU Championships in Orlando, FL. Many of her athletes have gone on to earn Division 1 Scholarships to schools such as Stanford, Cal, and Duke. She has earned awards for WCAL Coach of the Year, Cal High Sports Coach of the Week, and coached a Gatorade Player of the Year. She is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and has worked with the Montana Juniors Volleyball Club.

Special Information

Maximum eight athlete T-shirts and one T-shirt for the coach. XXL and XXXL is an additional $2.00. Each additional player after eight is $20.00 and will include a T-shirt, T-shirt not guaranteed if additional player is added after deadline. No Refunds. No exceptions.

Athletes in bordering states that do not have State Games are invited to participate (WY, ND, SD, ID).

Teams play in the division based on grade as of September of current year, according to the player in the highest grade. Graduated seniors must play in adult divisions. Each player may play on only one team per division. Scholastic players may play up a grade level but not down.

The Regional tournament will be played under National Federation of State High School Association Rules with Pool Play and Bracketed Championship format. The top teams from each division advance to Finals Competition. The tournament will not be held during the traditional State Games Weekend. The number of teams that advance is based on the total number of teams in that division at the Regional. Athletes of the top three teams in each division at Regionals will receive ribbons.

Finals Format

Finals format will also be Pool Play and Bracket Championship. Replacement players from Regionals to Finals cannot have played on another team in that division during Regional play. Athletes from the top three teams in each division at Finals will receive medals.

Roster Changes

After registration, you can continue to add/swap players on our website until (1) the day before the tournament and/or (2) you reach the maximum players per entry fee (8 players). Each additional player after 8 is $20. All roster additions/changes, including swaps, must be submitted to the BSSG office prior to the first game. Additions will cost $20/player. Changes/swaps will cost $10 (for any number of players) on the day of the tournament.
