Duff Gray has lived in Billings for over 25 years and is a Montana native. Involved in Yellowstone Rifle Club for over 5 years, Duff has volunteered his time helping with the Junior NRA program at YRC and is active in Bullseye pistol shooting as well. Duff is a Technology Teacher at Billings West High School, this is his second year as a Commissioner.
Irv Wilke is the president of BRGC and LRGC, and has many NRA instructor certificates and a NASP instructor certificate. He is also a hunter education/bow hunter education instructor. He tries his best to introduce young people to the joys of shooting, and the tradition of hunting and the outdoors. He has been involved in the Big Sky State Games Silhouette competition for about 8 years, first at Y.R.C. and now at Billing Rod and Gun Club. This is his second year as a shooting commissioner.
All 2017 and 2018 Big Sky State Games medalists, and some 2019 medalists are eligible to compete in the
2019 State Games of America in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Archery, Basketball, Biathlon, Billiards, Bowling, Cycling (Mountain Bike), Disc Golf, Equestrian, Fencing, Figure Skating, Golf, Ice Hockey, Karate, Lacrosse, Pickleball, Racquetball, Road Race, Shooting, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tae Kwon Do/Judo, Tennis, Track & Field, Ultimate Frisbee, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.

No Relay Times Scheduled – Please come when you have free time, and sign onto a relay. The Billings Rod & Gun Club range will be open for shooters during the following times: Fri: 2:00pm till dark, Sat: 2:00pm till dark, Sun: 7:00am-11:30am
You need not be a registered or classified competitor, nor are you required to be a member of a governing body or a shooting group to participate. New shooters and unclassified shooters are encouraged to participate. A competitor’s age category will be determined by calendar year and not by actual birth date. Senior category in Rifle Pistol is 62 plus.
$5.00 per competitor paid at each event site. The one-time fee covers all rifle/pistol events at event site. Target fees paid at event site. DO NOT SEND TARGET FEES WITH STATE GAMES ENTRY FEE. Enter teams at site, specific firing times can be pre-scheduled.
An awards ceremony will be held Yellowstone Rifle Club on Saturday, July 21 at 6:00pm and Sunday, July 22 at 1:00pm. Check with the event coordinator in regards to when your awards will be given.
One t-shirt per athlete. For individuals who sign up after July 16, Opening Ceremonies ticket will be at the Information/Will Call booth at Daylis Stadium the night of Opening Ceremonies.
