Sebastian Diaz is a first year Soccer Scolastic and Soccer Adult commissioner. Originally from Medellin, Colombia, Sebastian is now a US citizen, and has been a resident of Montana for over 8 years. He has a degree in Forest Fire Management from the University of Montana. He currently works for the Montana Migrant Council. Prior to that, he worked for the US Forest Service battling wild fires in the pacific and northwest. His experience in soccer ranges from playing at the high school level, to coaching and managing teams of all ages. He currently manages his own team in Billings called La Palmita FC. He has also helped manage a team of orphan boys named Rwot Kerr in Kitgum, Northern Uganda. His passion in life is to represent the minorities, and help people that don't have resources to be successful.

Andres has played soccer his entire life. He was born in Ecuador and moved to the US at the age of 19. He played college soccer at MSUB and coached the Laurel Storm U-15. Currently, he works at Montana Agricultural Worker Health & Services and is involved in the adult soccer spring and summer league.

State Games of America Qualifier

All 2015 and 2016 Big Sky State Games medalists, and some 2017 medalists are eligible to compete in the
2017 State Games of America in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Current sports are:

Archery, Basketball, Billiards, Bowling, Cycling, Disc Golf, Fencing, Figure Skating, Flag Football, Golf, Ice Hockey, Karate, Lacrosse, Pickleball, Racquetball, Road Race, Rollerskating, Shooting, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tae Kwon Do/Judo, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.

Bracket Information

2017 Scholastic soccer brackets will be available in July.


Each team must have two different colored shirts, one primary and one alternate color. Indicate team shirt colors on Team Entry Form under Event Information. Shin guards are required - socks over.

Special Information

  • Complete 7 vs 7 rules are posted on the Rules & Regulations page.
  • Ages as of first day of competition. All players must be on a roster and may only play on the team on which they are rostered.
  • Team sign-up only. Final rosters due prior to first game. Be prepared to show picture ID.
  • Divisions and/or age groups may be combined or reassigned and the schedule may change at discretion of Soccer Commissioner.
  • Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
