Commissioners

Blake Wahrlich has been involved with Lacrosse since he first picked up a stick back in 6th grade when he moved to New Jersey from California. When he moved back to California in 2010, he discovered there were limited opportunities to play Lacrosse where he lived. With the help of his family, he helped start the Diablo Scorpion Lacrosse Club when he was a sophomore in high school, which now boasts over 650 players in the program. After graduating high school, he traveled to Perth Australia to take part in the U19 World Games before moving onto college, where he played for and started all 4 years for CSU Chico. After graduating from college, Blake moved across the pond to England working for the English Lacrosse Association as a LDO (local development officer), where his duties were to spread Lacrosse across Southern England, with daily activities including traveling to primary schools and teaching Lacrosse in their PE classes. After a year abroad, he moved to Billings in May of 2008, and after several years, decided Billings and Montana needed Lacrosse. In 2011, with the help of Michelle Kern and Brynn Schwarz, he started the Billings Scorpion Lacrosse Club, with only 1 team at the time. Also, in 2011, he joined the newly formed board of the Montana Lacrosse Association, which is the state chapter for governing body of US Lacrosse. Fast forward to 2016, and Blake is currently still on the MLA board as the High School Commissioner, current President of the Billings Scorpions, and coach of the Billings High School Lacrosse Club, which represents players from Senior, Central, and Skyview High Schools.
