Sam Schultz Mountain Bike Clinic

30 minute presentation from Sam Schultz, Olympic Mountain Bike athlete, and then a course ride through with Sam.
(Lunch will be donated by Pedal United for all participants after the clinic.)

Special Instructions

Aero-bars and tandem bikes allowed in Time Trial. Absolutely no audio devices will be permitted by athletes. Violators will be disqualified.

Racing Instructions

Race number will be handed out at event site. You must check in before starting time to participate. Time Trial governed by the USA Cycling.

Course

Race will start and finish out front of the Molt Community Center. Course distance is approximately 10 miles. The 6 to 8 years olds will race a 2 to 3 mile course and must be accompanied by an adult on a separate bicycle. Electronic timing provided.

Commissioners

Chris Cook has been involved in cycling for six years, and is a cycling instructor at the YMCA. He helps coordinate the St. Vincent Foundation Kohls Care Program and is involved with the Bike Pedestrian Advisory Committee, the Heart and Sole Committee, the Downtown Exchange Club, Alberta Bear Theatre Board, and the Billings Police Department Citizens Bike Patrol. In 2010, he received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Billings Chamber of Commerce. Chris loves to bike and share his enthusiasm for cycling with others.
