Sam Schultz Mountain Bike Clinic

30 minute presentation from Sam Schultz, Olympic Mountain Bike athlete, and then a course ride through with Sam.
(Lunch will be donated by Pedal United for all participants after the clinic.)

Fee: $35 (Includes entry into the Big Sky State Game Mountain Bike Race Sunday, July 19)
Location: Acton Recreational Area (site of the State Games Mountain Bike Race)

Date: Saturday, July 18
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Check-In: 7:00 a.m. (No check-in after 7:30 a.m.)
Racers Meeting: 7:55 a.m. at start area

Special Information

No aero-bars or tandem bikes allowed in the Road Race. Absolutely no audio devices will be permitted by athletes. Violators will be disqualified. Age group and overall winners will be recognized. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 women and men in each category and for the top junior boy and girl in each category.

Racing Instructions

Race number will be handed out at event site. You must check in before starting time to participate. Road Race is governed by the USA Cycling.

Brenda Rose's love for cycling began with teaching cycling classes at the Billings YMCA. She enjoys riding for charities and ultra-distances. Brenda's experience in the past with organizing events has been as a track and cross country coach until 2012 when she was the race director for the YAK. When not on her bike, Brenda is a teacher at Billings West High.
