Location
Acton Recreational Area
One Mile North of Acton on Highway 3, turn onto Oswald County Road, take road 7.5 miles north to the junction with Heag Road. Turn right adn drive 2.5 miles on graveled road.

Date: Sunday, July 19
Check-In: Check in by 7:30 a.m. except for Youth 12 and under. They need to check in by 9:30 a.m.
Schedule:

  • 8:00 a.m. Expert Men/Women
  • 8:20 a.m. Novice Men
  • 8:30 a.m. Novice Women
  • 8:40 a.m. Junior Ages 13-18
  • 9:30 a.m. Beginner Race
  • 10:00 a.m. All Youth Ages 12 and Under, including Strider
Special Information

All levels encouraged. All pedal bikes & balance bikes (Strider) welcome. Strider registration is free but is open to onsite registration only and requires parents signature on waiver. Please, no electric-assisted bikes. The main course is a traditional single track with a hilly profile and mixed dirt/rock conditions. Youth and balance bike (Strider) division ride a shorter course on the kids and family loop. We are excited to host this years State Games Mountain Bike Events at The Acton Recreation Area. This is a family friendly event with lots of prizes and a Free BBQ starting at 11 a.m. sponsored by Pedal United, the local IMBA chapter. You will be able to compete in both the XC - Race and the Enduro. Come ride for the weekend. Helmets are required.
Camping available.

Racing Instructions

Race number will be handed out at event site.

Beginner Race: 2 Laps Kids/Family Course approximately 2 miles. True beginners, little to no experience needed.

Dean has been a Cyclist for over 30 years. He enjoys road and mountain biking. He is the owner of the Spoke Shop and member of Pedal United. He was the former owner of Chalet Market for over 30 years.
