The winning photo will be selected by Big Sky State Games, and will be announced by the middle of August. Photographers of the top three photos will receive State Games medals, and will be featured on our website for the 2017 season.
We got some truly amazing photo submissions last year for our 3rd annual photo contest! Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest, and took the time to vote for your favorite photo. The BSSG judges narrowed the submissions down to 8 finalists, and then left it up to the fans to choose their favorite photo. We are excited to announce the gold medal winner of the 2016 Big Sky State Games Photo contest is Cheryl Davis of Billings for her Soaked submission. Cheryl also won Gold and Silver in 2015 for her wonderful submissions. Brian Brosious of Frenchtown won the Silver medal for his Cycling submission. Mark Reynolds won the Bronze medal for his Soaked submission. The top three photos were honored at a BSSG celebration event at the Mustangs game on August 9, 2016. The winning images will also be entered into the National Congress of the State Games Photo Contest, which was won by Dennis Hirning of Billings in 2014. Congratulations to the winners!
